#LindsayLohan Live TV? Troubled Star Turns Down ‘DWTS’ Offer Because She Can’t Show Up On Time

Lindsay Lohan Live Tv

Human train wreck Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down a $550,000 offer from ABC’s "Dancing With the Stars." The reason? According to RadarOnline, the troubled starlet simply can’t commit to a schedule and can hardly be trusted to show up, so her team decided it’s best for her to skip live TV.

"Lindsay has been a mess on movie sets lately," a source told RadarOlnine. "She doesn’t show up on time, she keeps everyone waiting and so her team decided that there was no way that she could handle the pressure of a live show like ‘Dancing with the Stars.’”

Oh, LiLo…

The source went on to say, "Lindsay operates on her own schedule, and there would be no way that anyone could guarantee that she would be on time for rehearsals or the shows, and they’re live so it would be horrible if she didn’t show up!" Terrible, yes. Entertaining? Probably the reason ABC wanted the 26-year-old to begin with.

Had Lohan been able to manage some sort of schedule — two live shows a week and months of daily practices, in this case — the fat paycheck would’ve been ample help in covering her $234,000 debt to the IRS.

But that’s not the only reason LiLo should’ve sucked it up and said yes. Celebuzz listed the reasons why Lohan should have agreed to "DWTS" and they all make perfect sense. For one, the rigorous regimen would have sprung her into shape and gotten her on a healthier track. Also, Lindsay is practically uninsurable in the industry, but proving she’s changed on "DWTS" could help her turn it around.

Either way, we’ll soon get a decent dose of La LiLo when two of her movies come out: "The Canyons" (slated for later this year) and "Scary Movie 5" (to be unleashed onto the world in April).

#BritneySpears Fired From #XFactor ? Singer Reportedly Getting Boot

Britney Spears will be fired from "The X Factor" after only one season on the show, according to "Us Weekly." The report suggests producers aren’t happy with Spears’ performance during Season 2 of the Fox singing competition.

Spears joined Season 2 of "The X Factor," drawing a hefty paycheck of about $15 million. She and Demi Lovato replaced Season 1 judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

"They paid all that for her to say ‘amazing’ and offer half-claps," a source told "Us Weekly."

Spears became known for her one-sentence critiques and faces she made on the series, so much so that the series complied a montage for the Season 2 finale.

In November, Spears told members of the press she’d be back for Season 3. "Yes, I definitely will," she said at the time.

"The X Factor" judge L.A. Reid will not return for Season 3, and Simon Cowell has not made any official announcements about next season’s judging panel.

Fox had no comment on the matter. A spokesperson for "The X Factor" told HuffPost TV the reports are merely speculation. "No one has discussed next years judging panel yet – any reports otherwise are complete speculation," the spokesperson said in an email statement.
