Tina Fey is the latest star to jab Taylor Swift, calling her out in front of an audience full of famous faces.
“You know what, Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J Fox’s son," Fey told a laughing crowd at the Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 13, referring to the 23-year-old’s serial dating lifestyle.
Co-host Amy Poehler joked that maybe Swift should "go for it," as Fey replied, "No, she needs some me time to learn about herself."
To be honest, we couldn’t agree more.
Here are other people who have felt it necessary to diss Taylor Swift:
I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down … As a songwriter … I think it’s kind of cheap songwriting. I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, "Wait till he gets a load of this!" That’s bulls**t.

I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible … They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…When you have computers doing it all for you…there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality.

I just want someone who can be themselves. Not put on a show. It is as simple as that. I’m not dating anyone right now.

I don’t want to hurt her feelings, because she’s lovely. That Taylor Swift song? You Belong with Me? Oh my God! When it comes on the radio, I sing it so loud and I’m so embarrassed! Because I so freely sing it so loud! You can’t help it! The song, it’s not a bad song. It’s a great song! I think it’s just because it’s very whimsical in a way that I’m not necessarily whimsical every day. When it comes on, I just get this… I wanna sing it! Every woman feels that way. So I didn’t mean that in a bad way, Taylor. I think you’re lovely and beautiful, and I think you’re a great songwriter.
